Freeport Cobalt Asia visits Asian Metal

Sales & site Manager Dr. Jack S.M. Huang of Freeport Cobalt Asia Co., Ltd. and Senior Market Analyst Dr. Mitsuhiro Mori of Freeport Cobalt Japan Inc. visited Asian Metal on December 18, 2013. Freeport Cobalt is an affiliate of Freeprt-McMoRan Copper & Gold. Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold and its joint venture partners acquired OM Group’s Business & Refinery on March 29, 2013. The acquisition enhances Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold’s cobalt marketing position, product portfolio and product development capabilities.

Dr. Jack S.M. Huang and Dr. Mitsuhiro Mori communicated and learnt about the present situation of Chinese cobalt market. What’s more they have shared their opinion about the development trend of next year. Moreover, as of the sluggish state of present cobalt market, Dr. Jack S.M. Huang gave a thorough analysis and put up his proposals.
