Asian Metal visits GEM, Xinwei Nickel & Cobalt and Jiangsu Xiongfeng
On December 6, 2018, Asian Metal Sales Director Mr. Zhao Hao and Cobalt/Lithium Market Analyst Ms. Carol Lin visited a number of Jiangsu-based companies including GEM (Jiangsu) Cobalt Industry Co., Ltd., Nantong Xinwei Nickel & Cobalt Hightech Development Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Xiongfeng Technology Co., Ltd., and exchanged views with representatives from the companies on how the cobalt market moved in 2018 and how it will move in 2019. The companies all showed strong interest in taking part in the Seventh Cobalt Lithium Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Shenzhen on March 21-22, 2019.
In the morning, Mr. Zhao Hao and Ms. Carol Lin first visited GEM (Jiangsu) Cobalt Industry Co., Ltd. where they met its General Manager Mr. Zhang Aiqing and communicated on raw material supply status in the cobalt market and situations of its downstream markets.

In the afternoon, Mr. Zhao Hao and Ms. Carol Lin visited Nantong Xinwei Nickel & Cobalt Hightech Development Co., Ltd. where they met its General Manager Mr. Hu Yikun and exchanged views on spot demand in the current Chinese cobalt market and continuously high prices in the international market.

Mr. Zhao Hao and Ms. Carol Lin last visited Jiangsu Xiongfeng Technology Co., Ltd. where they met its General Manager Mr. Zhang Xiaoquan and communicated on the downward movement in cobalt prices in 2018.
