  • Baoliang Zhu studied macro-economy and quantitative economy in IMF and University of Louisville. He worked as visiting researcher in Japan International East Asian Economic Research Center followed Professor Jared Adams from University of Pennsylvania, preparing economic model during 1994-1995. He acted as economic leader of ambassador to EU, and first secretary. Baoliang Zhu is chief economist in SIC Economic Forecast Department at present, and has hosted several international cooperation projects and national-level projects. He won major science and technology award for “the Seventh Five-Year Plan” in 1991, with “Multidisciplinary Price Model in Macro-economy”; and got the second prize of science and technology from NDRC in 1997, with “Quantitative Analysis of Chinese Macro-economy”. In addition, he wrote various books such as “World Economy Outlook”, “Analysis and Model of Inflation Study” and “Growth Potential and Economic Cycle Study of Chinese Economy”. Mr. Zhu also published more than 200 articles on “Macro-economic Study” World Economic Study”, Quantitative Economy and Technical Economy”, People’s Daily” and “Economic Daily”.

  • Nick Kotaki began his career with Hitachi in 1981 and in 1985 began to specialize in the importing of rare earths from China to Japan. He successfully developed many rare earths business contracts that involved trading between China, Japan, the United States and Europe. After seven years in the division he had managed to triple its sales and profits.In 1993 Nick transferred to Hitachi’s London office to head up the European Materials Division.   • Dr Jiaohong Huang, a professor Senior Engineer, is in charge of the technical expert in Baotou Rare Earth Institute. Meanwhile, he is the adjunct distinguished professor in Inner Mongolia Normal University, membership of International Magnetic refrigeration Institute, committee of Chinese Solid & New Material Institute, vice chairman of China Democratic League in Baotou as well as the member of standing committee of CPPCC in Baotou. Main researches: Rare earth magnetic functional material; permanent magnet material application, permanent magnet devices, HGMS and rare earth metal production etc. Main research projects in laboratory: magnetic refrigeration material in room temperature, magnet system for refrigeration, magnet refrigerator in room temperature and permanent magnet separator etc. In the past ten years, he participated in projects in Ministry of Science and Technology including 863 sub-projects, and five national projects including national projects in NSFC. He is participating in one of the 863 sub projects of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, an international cooperation project, a NSFC project, and another national project, and has finished dozens of provincial and local level science and technology project. He not only horizontally cooperated with many nations, but issued over 40 essays about magnet refrigeration at home and abroad, and acquired 5 national patents. He was invited to deliver a speech at home and abroad, and took on the forth International Conference of Room Temperature Magnet Refrigeration in August, 2010 in Baotou.

  • Leo Lee, is an executive director and the chief operating officer of JL MAG since June 2008. Mr. Li is one of the founders of JL MAG and has been primarily responsible for strategic cooperation, sicentific research and marketing. Mr. Li received both his Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in Material Science in 1991 and 1995 from Beihang University, at the same time, he was a tutor at Beihang University from 1990 to 1994. In 1997, Mr. Li won the runner-up prize of “Zhuhai Outstanding Contribution Award for Scientific and Technological Progress” in connection with his research on infinitesimal physiochemical fibres and their products.
